Delete your data

You can ask us to delete your HayDetective account and the information we hold about you at any time, however you signed in.

Request deletion

1. Email privacy@haydetective.com from the email address on your HayDetective account, with the subject “Delete my account.”
2. We will reply to confirm the request came from you.
3. Within 30 days, we delete your account and everything connected to it.

What gets deleted

• Your account, including every sign-in method connected to it (Google, Facebook, or email and password).
• Your seller profile, listings, and photos.
• Your messages.

We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as records of completed payments.

If you signed in with Facebook

You can also stop Facebook from sharing information with HayDetective:

1. In Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
2. Open Apps and websites.
3. Find HayDetective and choose Remove.

Removing the app stops future sharing. To delete what we already have, also send the email above.

If you signed in with Google

Visit myaccount.google.com/connections, choose HayDetective, and remove its access. To delete what we already have, also send the email above.
